A carnival of Rugby League, with 3 teams from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be converging onto Lebanon to compete against local teams in the inaugural Middle East North Africa Under-14s Nines Tournament at Bhamdoun Stadium this weekend.

Awaiting the invaders will be a Palestine UNWRA team backed up by four Lebanese teams which should lead to some exciting Rugby League.

Amir Fakhreldine, Balamand, Berqazla and Zeheriyeh Boys High schools will be looking to show the American International, the British International School and the Jeddah Prep and Grammar Schools what they are capable of on a rugby League field.

The tournament will kick off at 1pm on Friday and culminating to the final at 2pm on Saturday. With food vendors and entertainment to set out a family atmosphere, all are welcome to come and support your favorite team and see the future players of our fantastic game.
