The Bank of Beirut Espoirs registered a sixth successive victory on Sunday in Bhamdoun, registering a six-tries-to-one victory over the President’s XIII. Centre Ghassan Dandash and fullback Riad Khoury both scored a pair of tries, with Robin Hachache and Mohamed Jamil rounding off the scoring. The Espoirs, who defeated the President’s XIII 32-11 in February and the UAE 48-18 a month later, have completed their schedule for the year, with full national team honours now up for grabs.

The match was scheduled as a trial for the Lebanon Cedars train-on squad, which will be announced later on Monday. The national team is participating in the RLEF’s Euro Med Challenge against Russia and Serbia, with the Cedars’ first match on 28^th September in Russia. A week later Serbia will face off against Lebanon in Bhamdoun, on 5^th October in the last match of the triangular tournament.

The Cedars squad will be selected in the first week of September.
